William Leavitt & Paul Tzanetopoulos

William Leavitt is an artist and musician who has been working in Los Angeles since the early 1970’s. His art work was the subject of a recent retrospective titled Theater Objects at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, in 2011. As a cellist he has played in several L.A. groups with Paul Tzanetopoulos, including the Subtones and Provisional Riviera.

Paul Tzanetopoulos is a conceptually-based, inter-media artist, working in Los Angeles since the mid-1970’s. His work is included in many public and private collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Permanent Collection of 20th Century Art. His best-known public art work is his award-winning Kinetic Light Installation created for the LAX Gateway Pylons. He builds and plays electronic instruments.
