Lisa Adams

Guest host Ezrha Jean Black, staff writer of Artillery Magazine and erstwhile blogger -the voice of AWOL- Art without Limits interviews painter/writer Lisa Adams. A painter & public artist living & working in LA. Adams graduated Scripps College in Claremont, & received an M.F.A. from Claremont Graduate University. She is the recipient of a Fulbright Professional Scholar Award, a Brody Arts Fund Fellowship & a Durfee ARC Grant. Her work is in the collections of Eli Broad, The Frederick R. Weisman Museum and the Laguna Museum of Art. She’s taught at USC, the Claremont Graduate University & Otis College of Art & Design LA. Lisa Adams has been an artist-in-residence in Slovenia, Finland, Japan, Holland and Costa Rica. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
